The Penang Wedding Film

My style is rather simple to explain, I create wedding films which are emotive and beautiful. Our focus is on storytelling through quaint imagery and fine composition of video, always remaining unnoticed to capture those really natural and beautiful moments – In essence, I film the day from a guest’s perspective.  It’s your wedding day, not a Hollywood production, so I actively make sure that throughout the day i’ll blend with the guests, with camera gear which is no bigger than that of a photographer. Strictly no clunky tripods and shoulder mounted cameras allowed (it’s not the 80’s anymore!), yet the quality of the footage I capture is superbly cinematic.

FESTIVAL BORIA PULAU PINANG 2014

Warisan Boria Pulau Pinang

Latar Belakang Sejarah :

Boria adalah sejenis teater tradisi yang amat popular di negeri utara Malaysia, terutama Pulau Pinang. Secara umumnya asal permainan boria dikaitkan dengan peristiwa Karbala, iaitu peristiwa pembunuhan Saidina Hussein r.a oleh Muawiyah bin Abi Suffian. Dibawa oleh tentera British berfahaman Syiah dari India ke Pulau Pinang seawal abad ke-19.

Sehubungan itu, Jabatan Kesenian dan Kebudayaan Negeri Pulau Pinang telah mengelolakan FESTIVAL BORIA di Fort Cornwallis, Padang Kota Lama pada Ahad 24 Ogos 2014. Festival ini dengan kerjasama sepenuhnya oleh Jabatan Kesenian dan Kebudayaan Malaysia sempena Tahun Melawat Malaysia 2014. 

wbStudio dilantik sebagai media rasmi JKKN Pulau Pinang untuk Festival Boria Pulau Pinang. Sambutan dan kemeriahan dapat disaksikan oleh lensa kami. Penghibur terkenal negara kelahiran Pulau Pinang menyerikan lagi majlis ini.
